Updated Shelf Talkers & Menu Cards
There were errors found within the new Shelf Talker and Menu Card Price Increase Kits from Aveda. Per Aveda NA Marketing, salons will receive corrected shelf-talker clings and menu price cards. In the interim, salons may print the PDFs below using the outlined printing specifications.
NOTE: Due to a magnetic paper supply shortage, Aveda will be using a new alternative material for salon shelf-talkers. Shelf talkers will now be made of the same material used on salon mirror clings, which has no adhesive and doesn’t leave a residue when you remove it from the shelf. See below for more details.

Shelftalker Print Specs:
Paper Type – Tabloid/Ledger Paper, size 17” x 11”
Stock – Magnecote 11 point
Ink – PMS Cool Grey and a special match to PMS 452
Size – 1.8837” x 3.8873”
Paper Shelftalker Printing Recommendation:
Shelftalker flats are built to tabloid/ledger paper, size 17” x 11”. If this size paper is available, it will print the entire sheet without any reduction. However, there is a work-around if only letter-size paper is available: the file may be printed going into the print dialog box for Acrobat and selecting "tile" for page scaling. This will divide the sheet into printed sections. If the desired shelftalker(s) are in the center of the page, you may select "none" in the page scaling option. It will print that area without reduction. If the files continue to print small on a tabloid size, make sure the "Page Setup" in the Print dialog box has the scale set to 100%.
The shelf-talkers are created to size. When printing these PDFs you need to make sure you print “Actual Size”.
