First, you need to understand the differences among these products. Color Control and Blonde Revival are a team of shampoos and conditioners with very different primary benefits.
Color Control Shampoo and Conditioner are formulated to help guests protect their hair color; it does not deposit or enhance color or tone. Blonde Revival Purple Toning Shampoo and Conditioner are formulated to neutralize unwanted yellow or brassy tones in blonde shades of hair for brighter, more illuminated results. Color Renewal Color & Shine Treatments revive and refresh tones and shine in different shades of color-treated or natural hair.
WHY PH-LEVEL MATTERS
Chemical treatments are deliberately alkaline and have a higher pH than hair, causing the cuticle to open & allowing the product to penetrate the hair. Therefore, it’s critical to thoroughly rinse the hair following a hair color service and apply a conditioner.
Shampoos typically have a pH value close to the hair’s natural level, promoting gentle cleansing. However, conditioners and treatments have a lower pH, which will help return damaged hair to a normal, healthy condition and prevent color wash-out.
